Sorry to hear that merlin :(

Rocky has been at the vets recently. He cut his paw open and is feeling very sorry for himself. He has a bandage and a cone around his head to stop him worrying at it.

She was all excited wagging her tail - she thought I was taking her out to the park for a walk, made me feel bad. Still - she had a good run - 16 yrs old!

Poor Rocky, my Boxer was a little accident prone too. How did he cut himself? Don't tell me - bored teenagers smashing glass bottles?

No, it was in the back garden, we'd taken some old flags up that pre-dated us and there were some assorted detritus under there.

We thought we'd got it all, but there was a tiny shard that had been missed.

Nice to see some shar-pei's on here so i introduce shar my best friend.

Awesome looking dogs, are they purebred Staffs?

Yeah as far as I know. I got some papers with them that show their lineage (a few champs in there too) but they arn't KC reg'd. I had no plans on breeding them (they are brother and sister) so I couldn't see the point.

Met up with a couple of breeders, one said the dog looked like a 'long legged' staff, but the bitch confused him who was smaller in the leg and was the more familiar looking staffy shape. Another just dismissed the dog as a possible throwback to previous breed standards where staffs were taller and more athletic than what we see today, originally called the working type. He certainly liked him as he offered to rent his services for breeding! What do you think? Personally I'm not fussed either way as these are by far the best dogs I have owned and I love em to bits.

Both are absolutely amazing with kids, very protective over my 4yr old daughter when strangers are around and fine with other dogs until challenged.

My Blue Roan Cocker spaniel called Saffie shes 1 yr 6 months old, she is a very loving dog and is finally getting the hang of loose lead walking lol. She has a good pedigree and a gun dog champ in her blood line, which explains why she loves to play fetch
