From my experience and research when I was buying Pugwash, it is very common and normal for Boys to be a bit chubbier and have a fuller body, No matter how much you feed them. Girls do tend to be a bit Skinnier.

The issue with "Lines" with Pugs, is theres no "Working Line" as such, because they were purely bred as a Toy dog, to sit there looking Pretty. So your only option really is one from a Show Line. All the Pugs I have seen on here pretty much conform to the British Standard for a Pug, nothing wrong with any of them.

Sumo looks almost identical to Pugwash, I would imagine he has a very similar breeding line..

Anyway - onto one of our new Family Members to be! One of them shall be named NomNom, the one we will be keeping :D

Congratulations on the new litter  Brings back great memories of my two being pups :)

My Sister's 10 year old Staffy, Tyson. So named because when he was a pup he used to like nibbling ears.

Crap photos taken on my steam-powered phone.

This is Rocky. My 3 year old black and slightly brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier. He loves swimming in the sea, pig's ears, falling to sleep with his Mammy and playing with his Daddy. Hes our surrogate child and we love him to pieces.

I'll defend Staffies for as long as I live, those who have owned them truly know how much of a loving dog they are. Those horror stories in the paper are often down to bad or incompetent owners, sometimes even cross breeding which are wrongly identified as Staffies. For those interested, check out this tear-jerking YouTube clip about 'The Nanny Dog' aka The Staffie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odi0XlI-4_g

Ahh right, forgot about Friends of Akitas, they were set up by some of the volenteers for JAWT a couple of years ago. Glad to hear they are doing well :)

I joined the JAWT website over a year before we got ours, wanted to do as much research as poss before we got one.

Well we did picked Honey up on Sunday, she is a such a fuss monster :)

She looks great, looks like she's settled in great:)
