*** Show us your Dogs ***

Nicest, bravest, sweetest most kickass dog i have ever had..12 stone of fun and there will never be another..got tears in my eyes just typing this and hes been gone 3 years

I know how you feel, it's coming up to 3 years since I lost Benson and I haven't been able to bring myself to get another dog since. I can't even bond with my neices jack russell pup as he's well...crap by comparison.

this is Simba, an Akita Alsation cross. he's now 6months old.

he's a big fluffy puppy dog :D

I think the sibes in the UK must be more domesticated than the american counterparts as all of the horror storys of them running for miles and miles before they notice are normally all yank/canada.
They are working dogs and LOVE to run. It's just what they do. My new one is really well trained, though. If I leave my gate open he'll venture out and look around. By the time he gets to the end of the drive he looks back at me like, "are you coming?" I tell him no and he comes right back.

My neighbour brings her Rottweiler over occassionally so they can play. If I see her come 'round the corner I'll let Mika out of the gate. He runs down the street, collects Shelby, and brings her back to the yard for swimming and doggie fun.

Put him on a lead, though, and that's a different story.

This is Harvey. Its the last good photograph i got of him before we lost him due to cancer at just over 13 a couple of months ago.

He's desperately missed.

not the fanciest dogs, but hey, that is what I got;)

the bitch is a "abandoned dog"(unfortunately very common here) ,left in my street by some heartless people , 4 years ago
after a month of a cold and rainy winter, I could not resist to see the poor animal in the street and I let her walk inside my door
since then she become a very sweet and loyal companion

here ,after a refreshing bath, they just want to relax and take a nap
the temp inside the house was around 30ºC (35 C outside)- too hot to do anything else:D

One day I will get a dog. Waiting until my lifestyle allows plenty of space and exercise though. Would love either a Huskey or other mid sized Spitz. Ideally though I would want a Huskey/Border Collie cross.
