My first dog (at the age of 47). Meet Seth!

Thanks. He's only 12 weeks old so he's keeping me (and the wife) on our toes!
I'm 45 and never had a dog. Our 8 year old daughter wants one but think too early for our 2 year old son.
Will give it couple of more years, I'm really looking forward to it even though I'm more of a cat person.

Funnily enough I'd never had any pets until I met my wife. We've had two cats now for 6 years so I was very much a cat dad but we're now at the stage where we were ready for a dog so they can join us on our travels around the UK. As much as I love my cats they're very independent and I can't see them siting on my wife's lap as we tour the UK lol

I was the same.

Never had any animals until I had met her and in the last 17 years I have lost count of how many cats\dogs we have had over the years.

Currently got 4 cats and 1 dog!
 
Nah it's not that, I don't blame them for forgetting about him tbh, he was closer to me than the rest of the family and my family has been to hell and back this year so I guess it's only natural that he's not in the forefront of their minds
