Dex and Cleo are brother and sister, rehomed several times before we got them.

Tilly is however old we're not sure probably 7ish

Well JD has once again come in missing his collar.
When I stopped using flea collars on him I switched over to standard ones with safety releases clasps, too much tension and they pop open, incase he gets it stuck on anythign means he wont choke.

He's been thru three of them now since xmas lol, the annoying thing is I keep having to buy ID barrells too.

I don't really wanna put a locked clasp one on incase he has been getting stuck on stuff and chokes, put one of them with a small stretchy segment on him now but I don't think it has enough stretch in it to get over his head.

Anyone had similar problems?

Every cat we've had (parents had penny before I was born) has just HATED having a collar. Tim is the worst (current cat), he survived less than an hour before he broke his normal routine to "accidentally loose it" in the garden :p

Unless you live in an area where no collar cats = strays it'd be best to let your cat enjoy them selves as it sounds like they really don't want to wear it.

Theyre both shipped but his seems to have been coming off since switchin to the safety clasp things. Im wondering if he's squeezing thru tight holes, fighting or if someones tried to grab him for some reason.

Just found an old memory card...
Picture spam incoming :p

When we got JD he wanted to do nothing but sit on you chest/legs/shoulder he climb if needed lol

Our eldest, Jade was going through 2-3 collars a week (safety clasp ones like yours). In the end we gave up and both cats are now collar-less. They seem to prefer being without a collar anyway and they are both micro chipped.

Hey guys any of you use FiProSpot?
http://www.vetuk.co.uk/flea-treatments-fiprospot-spot-on-c-3_787

I've been recommended to use frontline Iused Bob Martin stuff last time but the smallest cat went ape, rolling around trying to get it off, trying to bite where it had been put and foaming at the mouth, so I'm not using that again :( poor thing

Hope Don's dont see this as a medical question just looking for feedback :)

Had 6 cats to date, only one is with me today. Funnily enough she was the first, must be nearly 14 years old now. Doesn't catch as much as she used to but she could still feed herself without any bother.
