As in when you eat something - your having nom's....
they are om nom nom nom nom noms.........
Food. I see.
I've just checked an online dictionary and this word does not exist, so I am assuming that this is slang.
I know that I saw that word used on an advert for yoghurt, so perhaps people have learnt this word from the advert?
Back on topic, you don't have to keep your cat in the kitchen, unless there is a specific reason for this.
I love all the pics in this thread too.
It's also a great place for kitteh based advice, so I have come for some. Have any of your cats ever had any bald patches? Florence developed this little baldy area on her side about 2 weeks ago. It hasn't changed at all since from what I can tell.
We thought at first it might be from over grooming, because Mrs W had left her in the house all day a couple of times and she seemed to be lazing around and grooming a lot, but now we're not so sure. Any ideas?

On the first day you got the cat, she was happy to sleep with the dog like that?
LOL.
I am deadly serious and I am not going to waste any more time searching slang words.
I remember seeing those words in an advert on the telly (so I am assuming that the ad agency made up those words) - the dictionary has no record of the existence of such a word. That's enough for me.

that's just what i told my boyfriend...our house is going to be the kitty's castle![]()
It may not be the same thing but one of our cats had a problem with his ears where the skin kinda went crusty and the hair fell out. Turns out it was something to do with the blood vessels in his ears being to small so the skin was dying. He got a steroid injection and the fur is slowly growing back but it could be a recurring problem for him.
Might be worth taking your cat to the vet if the fur isn't growing back.
Lovely picture - is Sophie a seal point Siamese?
Doesn't know Nom but knows LOL?! Nom is almost as big as LOL in terms of mainstream internet slang these days.
Everything answered in the above video![]()

Indeed. And it was explained to me that perhaps Nom is relating to when people eat and make the noise of "nom nom nom" as they eat. Some people even suggested that this came from a computer game. Others disagreed.
In any case, from what I understand it relates to eating and food.
I will no longer be expending any more time on the word 'nom', but if you wish to carry out further research, you are more than welcome.![]()
Seal point birman I think.
That cat looks nothing like Manface's cat - his has a much skinnier face. It's totally a Siamese... Or at least, that's immediately what I thought.
