Show us your kitty cats

If you wanted an indoor only cat then you could contact the local rescues and say you are willing to take an FIV positive cat. It's a cat disease that means the cats need to be kept inside so they don't infect others, but most cats with it live perfectly healthy lives, they are just carrying the disease.

If you wanted, I could contact Bristol and Wales cat rescue and see if they know of anyone up your way that they would recommend? :)

Thanks for the offer knip, but I'm not sure of having a cat or any other animal which is disabled or diseased.

Google it, they live quite happy lives, it's just they need to be kept in so they don't infect other cats and spread the disease. Not harmful to humans either :)

I was meaning recommend a cat rescue in general, not just indoor only ones

i really miss having cats after losing my two recently, i feel that im nearly ready to get another, ive been looking at Pixiebob cats, perticully short haired full tail with Lynx tufts on the ears,
anyone here have any experience of them?

You won't regret it if you get a Pixiebob. Luna is 3 years old now and is such a character. They are very dog like in the sense they are not solitary but very pack orientated so will follow you everywhere, many people walk them on leads as they just want to stay with you! They are quite talkative and tend to chatter to themselves when hunting or playing. She loves hiding from me, then jumping out and attaching herself to my leg. Interestingly she doesn't do it if in shorts so I guess there is some understanding there!

This is Luna, going about her daily business..

Waiting to go for a drive, she loves being in the car with the roof down!

What would you people say would be your "kittens" favorite 3 toys?

I'm picking up a BSH in the near future, so other than saying they love boxes, I'm interested to see which of the toys are big hits rather than a miss.

Well I bought a little squeeky, flashing light toy that turned on when moved, a snake on a rope which my two chase me around with, and a fluffy bear toy.

They play with them daily, and the bear lives with my older cat in his bed but as soon as they see a box, their toys are pushed to the side haha

Plastic straws, foil, feathers,

I bought mine some little mouse soft toys from ikea... Don't think they were meant to be pet toys but I un-stitched the belly mixed catnip with the stuffing and stitched them back together. All 3 of my cats love them more than any other toy I have bought.

They love the cat laser pen as well.

I understand what you're saying. Currently living in a flat and the neighbor opposite has two cats that she allows to roam the stairwell. Wouldn't like her cats to potentially pick up anything, there's always the chance if the cat I had, sneaked out through the front door whilst it was open...
