Show us your kitty cats

I was angry for a bit, but I have no proof and no other reports of it in our area. The practice of doing so is deplorable, and I wish the fleas of a thousand camels to infest their underpants. But, there's so many products with EG in and so many ways she could have found her way to some. Screenwash on a scuttle panel, leaking car rad or pipe work, someone spilling a refill jug etc.

I've mailed the police locally to tell them of the incident in case there have been reports, so they can add her to their investigation but I don't want to expel any energy towards anger. No point in it, bad enough as it is without adding unsubstantiated rage into the mix.

Crem have called, and confirmed she's on for being cremated this evening. Should hear back tomorrow as to when we can collect her.

Cheers dude, and all.

It's rubbish, beyond words but having a better evening today.

Sat our son down when I got in from work and explained to him that Feeb was very poorly and she had to go to the Animal Hospital to see if they could make her better, however sometimes animals get so poorly that they can't be helped and that means that she can't come home. Said she wasn't sad, or in any pain but sometimes it just happens.

Then said the Animal Hospital were very sorry, but they were going to send us a little wooden cat that looks like Feeb to remind us of her every day.

He seemed pretty chilled about it, no questions as yet but expecting him to ask in time about her. Feel relieved for getting it done, had been dreading doing that since Sunday night.

Sounds like the right way to have gone about it. I've got Dave's ashes in an urn on my fireplace. My nearly 3 year old nephew will point at it and say "Dave" after I told him he was now sleeping in there.

If I ever get a cat again i'm not sure if I would have it as a house cat or not, It seems too dangerous outside for them nowadays, But is also seems sad I would keep it locked indoors.

So, last night SWMBO and I were aimlessly browsing bookface and the like and seeing several cat pics (standard) and before we knew it we were looking for kittens. This seems to be a regular occurrence. With the dust settling on the new apartment move as well it's very much coming to the point where we're ready for a cute furry pain in the neck :)

Anyway, we found an advert. 2 Ragdoll kittens not too far away at a price too good to be true. We sent a message asking to confirm the price. We think it's either a typo or the person doesn't know what they're worth.

Fingers crossed they're still available :) - they look incredible.

Price confirmed! They need their vaccinations and medical work but otherwise they're genuine ragdoll kittens

Stay tuned people...

Onwards with the kitten photos!

That's all I have right now. I took them from the advert. Lets see...

hate to say it but sounds a bit too good to be true? how would you not know what ragdolls are worth if you are taking the time to breed pure ones?

Well this is the other question in my head. What if they're a backyard dodgy breeder? What if said kittens will just get sick and die in a few months causing heartbreak?

They might not be full pedigree. That could explain it.

looks like it.

to be fair even after our boys have been in theirs the damn stuff gets all around the house. i suspect kittens play with it too.

Good point! :D
Anyway, spoken with the owner. They're cheap because they're not pedigree, their grandparents are pedigree ragdolls, their mother is, but the father is not. So they're like 75% rag - 25% standard cat - which explains the price.

In terms of health. The grandparents are 10 years old and still fine, so no genetic mutations to worry about :)

We're having one!
