Show us your kitty cats

These are my two - they're 1 now can't believe how much they've grown! Went from this:

to this:

Sam at the back looking at the camera, and his sister Poppy at the front (I've got a girlie ginger ninja too :D)

Even though they're from the same litter they are different - Poppy as you can see is a bit of a fluffball whereas Sam is short and quite coarse haired.

They are also drawercats :)

So I've been in contact with the cats protection people...

I left a voicemail, waiting for someone to get back to me, then I get a text in the middle of last week from someone called Alison and the text was ended with 'love alison xxxxx'

Why do I already get the impression she has no other people in her life bar her cats? :p

Anyway, had a good chat on the phone, and I explained my situation and suggested one they took in not long ago called William (I'm already planning to rename him to Mr Disaster but thats not the point :p) and she gave me the contact details of the person currently looking after him about 10 minutes from here.

Then she asked if I could take on 2 cats....I said no I had already explained one is enough and she seemed to get a bit cheesed off saying "surely if you have time for one a pair is hardly any different?!" and demanded to know why I couldn't look after a second! :p It was very hard not to be a bit offended by it and say 'thanks but no thanks and hang up' :)

Either way, have left a message with the person looking after William and we'll see how it goes, apparently he's black and white :)

Hehehe.

You were getting the hard sell.

Currently gutted cat has been missing for 4 day's, called everywhere posted flier's leaflets. No one's seen him. He's a house cat which my sister locked outside one night and he's gone. He's an old boy but by far the nicest cat I've ever met. Never wanted anything just a warm place to curl up and sleep. Hope he comes back soon ok.

*sigh* :'(

Yer door open food outside, he's never ventured further than 10m from the conservatory before + he's scared of the wind so not good. However he is very much a house cat and will if he's outside so we think someone has let him in their house. Well we're hoping anyway.

Skully - our cat looked exactly like that when we got her, spitting image!

Aero - hope he turns up.

We also have an outdoor cat which likes to roam now and again and she does sometimes disappear but not for longer then 8-10 hrs. Anyway 2 days ago there was no sign of her, 24 hrs pass and still no sign. She then pops out from under the sofa only to eat, and then quickly disappears back under the sofa. Lifting and moving the sofa uncovered a ginger little furball! She had just 1 kitten, how rare is that? I turned that room upside down looking for any others but looks like it's just the one which is good because we can keep it! :D

Just had a call regarding the rescue cat, hes just had an op to remove an abcess off his face (nothing to worry about I don't think) but apparently its all ok now. Arranged a visit on Saturday morning :)

Nice cats in here, viewing this thread always cheers me up.

but I have to say.

Be free housecats, escape your evil captors.

(please get a catflap).

Why should I get a cat flap? To have a car run my cats over or for some little thug to come along and kick em or worse?
Not a chance, people might think it's unfair to keep them at home but if you have had a cat killed by a car perhaps your views on the matter would be different.

Right, going to visit the rescue cat tomorrow :D

Here are the questions we have so far:

How old?
Any paperwork?
vaccinations?
micro chipped?
bits chopped?
allergy?
bad habits/reason for rescue?

Anything else we should be asking? :)

Ta!
