Arlo off to the vets today to have a blood test. Fingers crossed he can stop his FIP medication.

elsa and gizmo are 9 weeks old now and they have grown a good bit since we got them

at 9 weeks and their eyes are still bluish grey, they might have that eye colour as adults as their daddy was a full on ragdoll

How old is he. Absolutely gorgeous.

I did want a blue one, but the breeder only had no-colour when I bought my two

He is 10 months old I think. Amazingly placid but ridiculously noisy, I've never heard a cat meow so much. I'd hesitate to get another purely because of the FIP thing, apparently the breed's very prone to it.

@Arcane fip? What’s that? I wasn’t aware of any issues inherent to the breed?

mine are very quiet. They only meow when I’m making their dinner.

I actually want them to be more vocal, and I wish they’d sit on my lap more lol

I think he's worked out that someone will do what he wants if he wails enough, open a door, play with the pipe cleaner (his fav toy), let him in the garden etc so he's just developed a very noisy demeanour.

FIP is Feline Infections Peritonitis, it's common I believe amongst the blues, maybe wrong though.

i was looking after my sisters cat for a few years but we lost him a few months ago at 16 year old, he was super cuddly with me.

i find the pictures comforting now rather than upsetting





dougal teds brother lost him age 14 and ted is 16 odd now


we were down to one cat in the house so we got the pair of kittens and ted is getting on good with them under supervision for short times

ted well knows theres kittens he can see them through the glass pain door, he seems more interested in their food than them lol

they’re the first cats I’ve ever owned. I’ve always had dogs but my circumstances changed and it was more convenient to have cats.

I’m glad I bought two as they get on so well and it’s great company for them when I’m out at work.

yeh always good to have more than one cat if they get along, cats do so much mad stuff to entertain themselves when theres more than one lol
