Show us your kitty cats

Mine have been asleep today, owing to the fact that one of them decided to go out hunting last night. I woke up to face muddy paw prints all over my bed, and the house littered with worms and frogs. If I could speak cat, I would explain that it really isn't necessary to get me any presents.
Makes me glad our two are house cats at the moment :p

Will probably let them out in the back garden when they are old enough though.

Ragdolls aren't too streetwise though, so probably would get run over out the front :(

A road is very risky. I have always thought that their first encounter is their most important. They either live and learn, or, well, they don't.

Fortunately, my house is set way beck from the road, so they don't even go down there. They do encounter cars, but only ones going at a snails pace.

One thing I find is wonderful for kitties, that are new to the outside, is to build them a chicken run. Put it on the other side of a cat flap, then it gives them time to learn how to use the cat flap, get used to the looks and smells of your garden, and the other cats in the area. Also, it stops them flying into a panic when they hear a car. It reduces their stress, and your worry.

I usually let them have access to a chicken run when they are three to four months old, with the cat flap propped open at first. Once they get used to that, then remove the prop. Then they get snipped and chipped. Then, once they are fully healed, they can go out.

There are many waste paper baskets, but this one is mine, don’t try to remove me or i’ll be displeased!

She’s also very pleased to be queen of her new castle.

I’m starting to think that the cat tree was overkill, a floating shelf would have cost 1/10th the outlay, and would have provided Lollipop with the exact same use! She only ever uses the top shelf :p

That said, I’m also certain that if I did replace the tree with a shelf, she’d kill me, either with her eyes, or literally.
