Westyfield2 have they finished growing yet?

Yeah I haven't noticed them growing any more or putting on any extra weight, so I'd say they have. They're both over a year old now anyways so they should have stopped!

Attempting to take a picture of my Bengal, she wont sit still tho too busy causing trouble.
Sounds familiar!

Aaaaahhh.

I want a (F2) Savannah. Only 1 though. One thing that puts me off is the exorbitant pricing right now, on the F2 Savannahs.

The thing that I am finding right now is that the Savannah breed isnt mature and in many cases, Savannahs don't look too different from that of a moggie, yet the 4-figure price. Of course, Westfield's cats do not look like moggies.

There is no way that I am going to pay £1500 for a cat which looks and behaves identically to a cat which I can get from a cat shelter for £30.

Maine **** is probably the only other breed I would go for, but their long hair put me off.
I'm not gonna get into the pricing as yes it can be ludicrous - even more so in the USA. That said, if my bank balance and the neighbours agreed I'd love a Serval :p.
Someone told me you need a wild cat license for an F2 here... not sure if that's true though?

Ours are an F3 and F5 (same stud, different queen)... and they've most definitely got all the Savannah behavioural traits!

Cat and leather sofa... you're brave! :p

Awww, I miss our Seal-Point Siamese pair :(.

In UK, F2 onwards = no license necessary.
That's why I want F2 or nothing.

I was also thinking about going for another Bengal, only F2, however, I don't want another cat of a breed, I already have. I've been looking at Maine Coons recently, however, their cat hair and docile natures are putting me off.

The hair actually isn't a major problem, a good brush every few days though des help! They are docile but thats why I love mine so much, I've never ever had such an affectionate and laid back cat before, he has me in stitches. They also have a really varied vocabulary which is brilliant. How can anybody not love a cat that runs and slides in the snow lol.

I had every intention of him being a house cat when I originally got him, but its hard because they love the outdoors so much so he goes out now..............and don't be fooled by their laid back nature and clumsy looking feet, they are crazy good hunters, mine has a tendency to munch what he catches though, he ate a whole pidgeon once..............walked up the garden covered head to toe in blood with feathers sticking out of his mouth and feet, it was funny but not nice! and lets not forget the gigantic rat he walked up the garden with once too, yerk!

I recommend them to anyone, such fantastic cats :)

Guys, question for you all...

Now as you know Tony spends all day indoors right now, he can't go out for atleast another 4-5 weeks.

I feed him a sachet in the morning and a sachet of whiskas in the evening when I get in from work. Now, he knows feeding time, but I tell you what, I reckon if I opened another at 8pm, he'd eat the lot, if I go over to the food bowl to top his water up hes at it like a shot.

Should I be feeding him more? he has a bowl of biscuits out at all times so he can eat from that if he likes and obviously his water bowl.

Any thoughts? :)
