Those two kittehs almost look like rats, :mad:

When the cats are very very young, they actually do look a lot like rodents. As they grow, they move away from the rodent look.

My Egyptian Mau still looks and feels (when I'm holding him), like a giant rat.
 
Sphynx cats have a very high dependency on their owners. They have never been shy and always inquisitive. They can be quite active but if they are in the same room as you they will seek affection. They seem to need to be near you and will be content to sit next to you (but prefer to be on your lap) and if you move to another settee they will just move with you.
They get on fine with children, as they are not shy, but that can be a problem with younger children as they don't keep out of their reach.
They get on well with other cats etc and I have never known any of them to be aggressive. We also have a grey coloured "normal" male cat and whilst he can get territorial the sphynx cats, regardless of sex, never display such tendencies and are often bemused by Smokie's (our grey cat) antics.
