Show us your kitty cats

Ron is not too sure of the snow went outside flicked his little paws around while he sniffed then screams at the back door to get back in.

Finally settled for his afternoon nap next to me. Will eventually end up on my lap.

Just wondering if anyone has any cat litter recommendations?

We have been using the Lidl one, which is pretty good, but not totally dust free. The Mrs is a bit susceptible to irritation from the dust. Is there anything better that doesn't cost a fortune?

We tried the wood pellets, but the kittens don't like the feel of them and won't go on them.

For cat litter we try to get one of these (stock varies when we visit the local branch):

Essentially a clumping one. Also, make sure you're using an enclosed tray to keep the dust and mess down.

Our cat mostly uses the tray as she's a bit nervous doing it outside thanks to the ginger bully two doors away.

I would personally use nothing other than wood pellets (I get the bags at The Range) due to the ease of use andblow cost. Maybe try half and half to try to get them accustomed to pellets or slowly introduce them.

I did try half and half, but no dice.

I will leave the wood pellets for now and return to them when they are older. I think they just feel too big under their little kitten feet at the moment.

Little feet's :D

Luckily my boy was already trained on them when I Adopted him in April, so had no issues or accidents at all.

Been like this for about 4 hours now, my legs are going numb but heaven forbid I move.

We have always used the wood pellets but when we got our last two they had been trained using

This stuff

Expensive, but works well and the kittens were straight on it

Jesus, £26 for a bag of cat litter!

I know! When the lady we bought it from showed us we were like "ah, ok, never seen that before"

When saw the price we were a bit lulwhut but it's the only one they would actually use, anything else they went on the floor next to the tray or perched on the tray edge and went half in / half out the tray. I didn't think they liked / were used to the feeling of the other litter. We did try the wood chip (we had in) and other varieties / brands

Luckily it lasts quite well, you don't need an awful lot and being scented there was virtually no smell at all

Took Ronnie to vet this morning -How is it cats know when you are taking then even if you think you have been doing things normally - Got cat box in last night and hid it but he knew.
There isn't anything wrong with him except the odd sneeze so we thought get him in before xmas,
Turn's out he is OK but a bit fat. Half a kg up at 5.5kg.
Vet said he might have a mild infection so she prescribed anti's just to wack the bill up.

So we have piece of mind (hopefully)

This one does the same - at a god forsaken early hour in morning he wakes up either to eat or be stroked.
