Ok I've had my car over 6 months now and have only taken about 4 photos of it until now. So took a few today, albeit still only with my crappy 3.2mp phone camera! The 10mp was at my house. Anyway, it's an E60 530D SE and since owning one has made me really love the shape of this car (I hated it beforehand) and appreciate a lot of Chris Bangle's work for BMW these days. (apart from the 1st 7 series obviously). And I challenge Fox in asking how he can not think this particular motor of mine is a finer example of the E60 shape, even in SE form :)

Spec: E60 530D SE, December 2004.
17" 122 alloys - 245/45/R17 Vredestein Ultracs currently fitted
Cream leather interior (actually beige dakota whatever difference that's supposed to make)
Auto/tiptronic box
Dechromed & model inscription removed.
Active front seats with arse massaging function.
Xenon lights with visibility system - headlight washers & adaptive headlamps (ie. ones that go round corners)
Extended lighting system - various extra lights & LED's on the interior, and white LED's under the door handles. Looks quite nice at night :)
Sports steering wheel
Bluetooth phone system (contacts, call history etc through i-drive system)

I've put 9000 miles on it since end of April and am absolutely loving it. Brilliant handling and very comfortable too, equally at home cruising at 90 down the motorway or being thrashed round back roads.

lovely car, but them wheels do not suit the car :(

I disagree, I might be biased because it's my car but out of the choices of 17" wheels for the E60 I think they're the best looking. There's a choice of

style 138:

style 122:

(mine)

Style 138's are the most popular 17" 's I've seen.
Because of the inward-curved shape of the 122's the spokes actually look a slight bit longer than the other sets, and when following the car from behind, the alloys do look quite nice on the move :) But each to their own obviously.
