Mine has a Z4 coupe so I'd actually be quite happy having the same, can't help but feel our cars are the wrong way round! Also has a bland jap estate though, I certainly wouldn't want to have a twin of that

He traded that for an xf a few years ago. He still regrets parting with the XJ, but his work at the time meant that his car could not be more than 3 or 4 years old.

What made him swap his XF for an A1 then? Can't imagine it would have saved him much cash, assuming the A1 was fairly new.

Saved a bit of money, the jag was a diesel and since we moved house due to his job relocating, he now only has a 15 min commute to the office.

Going from a Black A1 Sport to a White A1 Sportback Sport... lol.

my only logic is that a derv would indicate doing significantly more miles.

If i was doing more miles, I would probably look at a more comfortable alternative.
