120d M Sport with toys.

Love it, such a polished car. I love all the details and the level of tech that comes with it, remote apps, media and satnav, much more.

My first BMW and I suspect not my last.

It replaces my megane coupe which did 80k miles without anything other than servicing (not even a set of brake pads)

Have such a HUGE soft spot for these cars, my wife has a 1.6 Zetec...admittedly nowhere near the same level but it is such a well put together and great handling car, the RS must be fantastic to drive!

There are a few kicking around Aylesbury all very tidy examples and sound lush :D

Do like RX8's and they are in my price range

as you say its the oil and fuel bills that still kind of put me off.....is the Renesis still bad for required rebuilds etc or they got past that?

I'm still of the belief that the RX8 could be a great track car. For the purchase price you could strip and resell most of the stripped parts to save weight and probably remake the purchase cost back. Put that money into a full once over and go play on track.

I do want a rotary powered car one day, love the FD3S.

Theres a garage round here that specialises in the v8 conversion and running them for drifting, seems a much better use of the car :D

They do look great but that touch screen interface and some other interior niggles really lets it down.

On the facelifted cars the touch screen is much better, and for the vast majority of things works perfectly. I use the Nav and audio controls all the time and once used to it it becomes second nature.

What interior niggles????

Yeah the nav is a bit old but works and the novelty of all the feature/function wears off anyway. Recent phase is better and the Incontrol interface to phones apps is pretty good. Will be getting better next time round ;)

I assume your referring to the XE? Was talking to my dealer about it yesterday as they should be available in the window for replacing my XF...I just want the high powered 3.0 v6 Supercharged engine...

Absolutely wonderful interior.
