tempted to ask for a test drive on one of them, but haven't ever asked for a test drive of a car. :/

Do they ask for proof of income etc?

Didn't with me, just enquired about getting one, booked a test drive.

I actually signed the contract the day before I started my job, was technically unemployed at point of purchase!

Not quite 25. :/

RRP on them is just over 41k euro, so roughly a years wages. (starting grad job)

What's astounding is the manual version is 750e a year tax, and the automatic is 570e. :/

Sweet, I'll give it a go so. I'd buy second hand, but I'd want to get a feel for the car first.

Less than a year old they are sub 29k so if it drives grand, then this time next year, I'm guessing it'll be sub 20k (hopefully!)

Yeah I love it. Drives like nothing else, I opted for the petrol as I just don't trust modern diesel engines and it was pretty cheap.

What ballpark was it out of interest? Is it post march (high VED)?
