Yours is effectively an Impreza, the same basic chassis as the Impreza and even a lot of the same bodywork.

They've dropped the name Impreza on it and just used WRX STI but underneath it's still an Impreza, it's not a unique model.

You need only look at photos of regular Impreza saloons to see how similar they look still. The UK seems a tad confusing because they've only bothered with the hatchback here, so you don't see the bog standard saloon for comparison.

I did not mean unique model as in it does not have the same chassis, but they sell them as two different cars. That is why i was confused when he said "I like the new Impreza" :confused:
 
What Subaru have done is make a new generation Impreza WRX and then decide it was better off if someone took the Impreza badge off the back and pretended it was now totally different :p

I really like the Forester STi - my dad had a 2.5XT Turbo one which was great fun. I just don't think I'd be able to put up with the interior on them though - it's even worse than the Jeep he has now, which is saying something.
