So a lighter car will go faster ?

People are right about braking and Corning but my point was about weight and acceleration. At steady speeds it has neglible impact on economy. (Tiny impact on rolling resistance). Anyway I guess this is boring now :D

I hate filling up and would a happily have a tank twice as big

I'd fill my boot with petrol if I could.

I've done a fill from half to full and from empty to full and the MPG difference has never been all that noticeable. The 5 mins of my time is more valuable.

Tone needs lowered in here so have some Astra. Wash after ticking over 90,500. Really needs a clay bar to remove all of the tar that is stuck on.

Managed to kerb the spoke of the wheel on a narrow bridge after hurrying across due to road rage people holding me up :(





 
I sent a letter to Shell to complain about the distance between fueling stations, I only put in £5 to ensure I can go round them corners as quickly as possible, and improve my 0-60.

I asked for a petrol station every mile on my route to work, I await their response...

Great pic ST220 looks great. I normally don't like silver but it looks great on the 220 especially with the chrome bits on it.
Dare I say it I'm missing my 220 already :( lol. I'm driving a hateful Fiesta Untill I get another car and seats are killing my back. Damn those leather Recaro's were the best seats I've had in any car.
 
Got the GT6 back this weekend from the body shop with fresh coat of paint on it :D. Can't believe how good it looks now. Just got the front badges to put back on, a service, an MOT and it's then back on the road. Can't wait to take it out for some proper drives.
