Show Us Your Motors!

Bought this yesterday to replace my Golf, gave the golf to the Mrs which kept her happy

It's a 2003 RR V8 Vouge converted to LPG

no one has ever replaced a golf with a range rover.

Nice! Will you be picking up some different rear lights too? My only gripe with the car!

Oh and we need a front end shot ;)

Thanks, yeah, possibly, hadn't thought about them before but I'll add them to the to-do list!

I'll put up a quick list of what I'm planning on doing for it in the Subaru thread along with some more pictures when I get a chance to take a few.

Picked it up yesterday morning.

Already bought some bigger wheels :p

Very nice, hated these when they came out because they weren't a saloon and broke away from that tradition, but they have grown on me over the years and they are lovely cars.

Plus you never get to see one around, I certainly haven't!

The first time I saw one was the Cosworth version, really cool looking car with a big road presence, I think that was what started turning me around, haven't seen one ages though, the regular versions are dull.

Yep, I can only recall seeing one other in the past couple of years in my area but then again the standard ones don't have much of a presence. There don't seem to be that many for sale either!

The cosworth looks great. I'm aiming for that sort of look. Probably be done by the end of the year!

What's going on with the rear ride height??

Anyway, not for me - a nice e60 still seems to command a lot of money so I'd personally either go for something else or wait until an f10 is realistic

Agree, hence wait till either he can afford one or go for something else imo

You're still talking close to ten grand for any "nice" e60 which, personally I think is too much

He hasn't said early e60?

Anyway, the early ones are not a car I'd personally even consider - and later cars are, as I've already said approaching £10k for something that appears to be a nice example

The E60 really isn't anything special, hence me plonking for a 2010 A6 as I didn't want to stretch to an F10.

Drove a pre-facelift E60 525d for years when it was new and thought it was brilliant, but drove a 2010 the other month and didn't really think much of it.
Sure, it's got the A6 beat in the handling stakes but you don't buy one for its road holding capabilities.
I reckon the C6 A6 is a nicer place to be with higher quality materials.

Stick with the E39 would be my suggestion. Unless you really want something with more power but drive a few different cars first.

after a good clean a week or so ago.

PLEASE READ THE RULES REGARDING IMAGE SIZES

Focus looks great. The front on the facelift is miles better looking than the old shark like front on the previous model.
Is it the proper ST or the mini cab version they now produce? :p
