They are there because someone damaged the car after it had only done 1,000 miles. They launched a glass bottle at it. It's a pearl paint and it would have cost a small fortune to repair properly, so for the time being the badges cover it

I agree, bit marmite but not as much of a write off on the looks front as it was made out to be, the M5 has a great road presence. On the other hand, the interior of the E60 is...no words...sorry Tom
