How you finding the XF steedie? Didn't you have a horrible experience with a pre-facelift XF?

Yeah the pre-facelift was a lovely car, loved it...when it worked. But I was extremely unlucky with that car and in the 18 months ownership it was in Jaguar at least 12-13 times. If it wasn't for how brilliant Jaguar were with me each and every time, I'd have made a lot more of a fuss about it and walked away sooner.

But this new one, obviously only two months in so can't speak too much for reliability, but everything else is absolutely brilliant. The changes that came with the facelift make a huge difference, both to the look of the car and using it. The 8 speed gear box is just an pleasure to use both around town and on a fun drive.

It makes me smile when I get in to it the same way the old did, with the turning vents and gear selector, it never gets old

Not the prettiest or fastest but i like it. My Passat B6 2.0 TDI. Spent more than i should have on it putting on bilstein coilovers, miltek catback and AMD remap etc. Got it up to 190bhp, 350lbs torque and in my opinion sounds quite nice. Any yes i need new alloys

The debadge on that Passat really takes away from the looks of the front imho.

I think it'd look a lot smarter with it

The V8s are so expensive on the facelift models. Pre-facelift versions are affordable but I wanted to avoid those.

Have been toying with the idea. the metallic one it came with bubbling so I replaced it with one of those for cheap. Thinking about getting an R-line one to replace it.

Gave the TT a quick wash and a whizz over with quick detailing spray, it comes up quite nicely still! Biggest pain in the bum is the exhaust pipes - chrome exhausts and a "sooty" engine are not the best combination.

So why not just repair it? I would expect the bumper will detract many from the car, irrespective of the discount.

I have to agree. Last thing I'd want after picking up my new Porsche is ****ing about with a bodyshop.
