Yea, who'd want a fully functioned high res infotainment system with Europe wide mapping :p

I remember when I had the E39 with no heated seats and I used to pretend it was a conscious decision not to have them and that I didn't even care anyway :p

Dunno, could have just easily bought a BMW with one lol. Should i have cared? As long as i can hook my phone up to the car and listen to my music, im happy.

Im sure ill survive with my TomTom with lifetime euro maps anyway :p

Haven't you got a saab to be recommending to someone, telling them how much better it is than a ST220 that you didnt like of mine either? :)

Car was filthy today, but took a few photos anyway after an early morning drive into London:

Stunning. I would have to have a grey one though.

I know you've only had it 2 minutes but what are they like to maintain?

Meant to be pretty good- as far as I can tell, very similar to the e46 M3. Annual service is £500ish a year, clutch is a weak point and costs £1,500+ to replace (mine was done at 31k as an example). Seem to be very reliable cars generally.

Fuel economy is shocking though, and that's comparing it to an e46 M3!

My Aston's have been very reasonable, with annual servicing being around $1400 and biannual being $2500. Parts are expensive, particularly over here, but I've not had a single issue in 40k+ miles.

Fuel economy isn't great, but it's not that bad either. I had the 4.7 and 4.7S engine versions so slightly larger capacity, but I'd average 15-20mpg (US, so lower than UK). In comparison, my GT350 has averaged 11 over the past 1100 miles...

Enjoy the car, I have a real thing for Aston Martin's, and intend to always keep one as part of my collection.

Gave the Mackem a quick wash over the weekend:

To be fair I don't really give this car much credit, however been driving it a little more recently and I must admit for a car which at a year old when we bought it for £16k you do get some decent options and has been worry free motoring.

To be fair, that has been my experience of Nissan as a brand as well. Unexciting, but reliable.

P.S. Are you a NUFC fan? :D
