Show Us Your Motors!

mjt - is that actually green? I thought that colour had died a sad death on cars. Looks so stately.
Yup, Tiefgrün. Green cars certainly have disappeared. The only colour Audis, Mercs and BMWs I see now are grey, black or white :(
Stately colour matches the stately manor handling :p
Sorry, I'm seeing more grain than shine ;)
Terribly sorry. iPhone will have to do, as I don't carry a photography studio around with me on my way home from work.

Is this one better? :D

Just how big is that turbo!

You've probably been through this before, but details please :)

Yup it is a Comptech supercharger (Paxton Novi 1000)

- Stock engine with a Novi 1000 (14psi) @ 420whp
- ACT clutch
- Walbro pump
- Spoon suspension
- ID1000's
- AEM 1052u ECU
- Decat etc etc.

Wow.

I have read about lots of people supercharging/turbocharging the 2ZZ-GE (the Toyota/Yamaha engine in my car) on stock internals.

I know it is supposedly an alloy block, with forged connecting rods, but cast pistons... I know that it is safe to run it at 250BHP with a supercharger and an 8600RPM limiter (because Lotus ran a version like that on stock internals) - and the Blitz supercharger kit is supposed to take it to 270HP on stock internals, but past that is a bit undertain...

One example of a modified 2ZZ which is in an MR2 (engine swapped from a 1ZZ-FE) on Youtube pushes about 450HP turbocharged on stock internals and the owner says it has been used and abused with zero issues for 2 years, and there is another I know of, a red Celica tuned by MonkeyWrenchRacing which pushes 500HP on stock internals, but most people choose to rebuild the engine with aftermarket internals, and there must be a reason for that...

Still, just blowing smoke. I'm clearly not going to slap a supercharger on my car... :D

Managed to get off early today so i went for a drive up to Winnats Pass. Open country roads + roof down = ****ing freezing, so the roof soon went back up :D

Quick filthy pic before i froze to death:
