Show Us Your Motors!

Sorry fantasy cars? Yes It's bloody hard to believe someone at a young age could be driving such nice cars!! Get a grip before making such accusations.

But then again, there's a word for people like you with 55,000 posts on an internet website.

It's not generally hard to believe, but you intentionally mark yourself out for special treatment because you come across as absolutely desperate for attention; constantly deriding people for driving cars not as good as yours (even though that's often debatable) with a pompous and pathetic "My car's better than your car" attitude. Yet when people give you the opportunity to lap up the attention you seem to so desperately crave by simply posting a picture of your own car, you never come through. So yes, in your case, it does come across as unbelievable.

And it's hypocritical to attack Will for the time he spends on the forums, when you yourself aren't above making snide remarks about other's peoples cars you consider somehow beneath you, seemingly to gain some attention on those same forums. It frankly comes across as very pathetic.

But anyway, back to people's cars...

Made the most of the break in weather we had yesterday...

Fantastic...I'm hoping that sounds as good as it looks? :D

You could've at least specced a colour... ;)

Thats a Kuga right? What engine/spec? :)

Looks smart. Shame about the "you can have it in any colour you want as long as its white" paintjob. :p

Kuga Titanium X Powershift AWD 2.0Ltr 180Ps with Appearance Pack, Convenience Pack and Sat Nav

As for colour

I was offered any metallic paint that I wanted at no extra cost but to be honest apart from the Deep Impact Blue, which was very nice and the Tiger Eye, which is..... shall we say different  none of them really jumped out at me screaming buy me, if that makes sense yet when I saw a picture of a Frozen White with the appearance pack I knew it was what I wanted.

But a white one will just blend into the endless swarm of silver and white cars. :(

Deep impact or tiger eye would make people at least think "ooh, thats a nice colour". :p

One day I'll strive to own something extravagant... Like a grey Toyota Corolla! That'll stand out in a sea of white cars for sure! :D

Oi, my Corolla is beautiful when its clean. :D

Crucially, it is grey, not white, black, or silver. So it is actually a fairly unusual colour. :p

if it's lowered and has spacers with wind deflectors, it will? :o:D

It is bone stock at the moment, and when it eventually gets modified, after being repaired, it most certainly will not be slammed with spacers... Its a hatchback!

Lol

Not sure where this "sea of white cars" thing comes from, as whilst they are undoubtedly more common than they were a few years ago, it's not like every car is white.

Personally think white still looks good (although I have a white car so am biased), but stands out more than my previous black car ever did.

In my unscientific look out the window into the work carpark I can see:
6 White cars
13 Silver or Light Grey
13 Dark Grey or Black cars
8 Blue cars
2 Red
1 Orange
1 Brown

#yolo #swag #barry ;) you know OCUK!

but yeah, my mazda will get lowered eventually too! :D

My short list of adjustments in no particular order will be (some are already on, some not)

Genuine 17" Corolla Compressor alloys
Suspension & slight lowering
Poly engine mounts
K&N Typhoon induction kit
Solid gear stick base & gear linkage bushings
... Wind deflectors :D

It will look pucker, you'll see... :p

What repairs does it need?

Sort those out before you ruin it.

Ruin it? Right...

- Genuine wheels (I prefer how they look, plus there are better tyres available in the size)
- Better suspension (Standard shocks, and Eibach lowering springs - The Eibach lowering springs are only 2CM lower than stock, and the actual difference will probably appear to be even less than that when factoring in how the old suspension will have 'bedded in')
- Aftermarket intake (to improve throttle response and engine note - very common modification on any 2ZZ-GE)
- Poly engine mounts (the engine rocks violently sometimes in low gears when easing off the throttle for example, it is normal for these cars and this will eliminate the issue)
- Solid bushings (already fitted, made the gear stick feel much more accurate, definite improvement, and invisible)
- Wind deflectors (whilst I do like how they look, the main reason for fitting them is so I can have the windows open a little without as much buffeting)

Repairs wise it needs:

- Cam cover gasket and spark tube seals (getting sorted Saturday)
- Clutch (have the clutch, just need to get it fitted)
- Cosmetic stuff (smart repairs, removing tints)
