Show Us Your Motors!

If someone gave me that RS4 for free I'd drive it into a tree. For one it would probably look better and would also mean I might be able to return it to standard under the insurance

The point is that the style is a personal taste, and the dynamics of the car aren't compromised - because the suspension is really very good - as was concluded when it was argued about at length in the past...

It isn't driven about like that, and the owner of the car obviously likes it as a performance car as well as a showpiece...

But as usual, people on here can't see past their own predudice,
and even the 10 year olds are experts... Figuratively speaking

bang on.

you guys know that cars with air ride don't drive around aired out like that don't you?

I didn't even know it was air suspension, hence my first post. Just assumed it was very low and he drove everywhere at 5mph.

Not everyone reads every post to know these things.

People not reading posts and jumping to conclusions...well I never.

They are entitled to their opinions ultimately! It may not be my cup of tea (mostly the wheel colour choice and slammed look when parked up) but I don't believe it's the travesty that is being portrayed here. Luckily the owner doesn't need to conform to OCUK's rigid OEM standards and appears to be happy with it and well aware it will attract criticism given his previous threads lol.

Whoa, lots of replies to the thread but strangely got no email notifications.

Yes, the car is on air. I have a controller in the ash tray that lets me instantly adjust the ride height of the car at the push of a button. This includes changing height of individual wheels or axles separately.

Yes, it handles just as well (I'd say better) compared to standard. Nothing has been compromised and a lot of time & money has been spent to ensure this is the case.

The wheel finish is copper plated with tinted ceramic clear coat, and the wheels are in fact for sale :)

The good thing about wheels is that they can be easily swapped in like 20 minutes. I have 3 different sets of wheels and thus I don't see how "wrong looking wheels" can "ruin" a car. Same way if you have a pair of jeans you're not keen on anymore, you get another pair and change into them.

So shiny wheels, (which you can easily swap), a custom front grille, and an adjustable suspension is enough to push you to drive a 440bhp car with a ton of performance upgrades into a tree? Ok buddy :p

He's posted about it before, it has had a significant amount of money spent on a full airbag system. It's a carpark queen it seems, spends its time at shows etc hence all of that stuff.
Not quite a "car park queen" my friend ;)

1 week after I had the stage 2 map done:

qppgLMS.jpg

Well that escalated quickly.. lol at all the people who made assumptions without knowing the full details.

Kudos to the guy for doing what he wants, and enjoying it :)

Personally I like the paintwork and the wheels, if you don't well that's your problem.. the world keeps spinning! ;)
