I like it, but then JDM stuff is totally up my street. I'll be buying a new oddball sedan soon, just waiting for the right one to pop up, on auction watch every day.

Is that an Elgrand? Are they the ones that have the 350z engine that do 0-60 in like 6.5s?:o

chaser? ;) I'm lusting after one! have loved them for way too long.

Not a Chaser, or any JZX model. Too old, I specifically wanted something more up to date then my current Lexus. Not really bothered about speed, I have a tuned Silvia for that. A daily needs to be comfortable, automatic, enough grunt, and trouble free.

It is a Toyota. I've become a fanboy since having the Lexus, such a good car much better quality than the Nissan and Mitsubishi I've had before, even down to the steel it's made of which seems impervious to rust. Ultimately it's old and has been neglected, the body is beat up, it needs a brake job, a timing belt, a set of shocks and some bushes. Not worth it since I want something newer that I can turn up at a respectable place without having to park next door :p Don't really like the newer Lexus designs but the JDM only Mark X is like an IS250 but nice looking. I want a black S package model which has the 18s, Aero, black interior, I want one with the back-up camera too, standard on some packages but not the S package hence waiting for just the right one.

I tried to kill myself today!

ramp.jpg

Wow, you were working under that? That's the dodgiest ramping I've seen in some time..lol

To be honest, I'm not sure whether the ramp being balanced on wood is worse, or the fact that those cars have terrible handbrakes at the best of times. Hope it was in gear. :D

It's an excellent step up. Car doesn't feel as fast even though it is quicker due to being much more refined inside, the handling is just out of this world and it's currently got 2 naff tyres on it as the suspension is just so compliant with dips/bumps without being crashy, however when throwing it round corners the body roll is very minimal and gives you plenty of confidence :D
