Show Us Your Motors!

Sorry but I really don't think those MK3 alloys suit that MK2 at all. They look really out of place to me.

Car looks very tidy though! :)

I agree. I hate them but it's these with almost brand new tyres or the part worn 175/70/13 steels that were on there, these also mean I can run my big brakes :D

I want to get some compomotives when funds allow.

Looks good. Get those bumpers back to black though.

Thanks, I've got some arches to put on so the plan is to make them all black at once.

A few of mine from a recent trip to the Peak District..

You always seem to go to awesome locations with your car, take okay photos, but have inappropriate things in the background. In photo 2 you could have not included the signs behind the car, and in photo 3 you could have just waited for the oncoming car to pass :p

But yea. The peak district is awesome, and looks like you had a capable machine for the job. How did it feel around tight snakey bends? Was it light navigating an aircraft carrier, or was it like steering a go-cart, or somewhere in between? :p

My brother has an F10 530d estate. I'll borrow it for my trip to Wales next year.

That is awesome. I want one. :D

Auto I assume? What sort of economy would you expect to get out of that on a motorway run?

Auto for sure.

Before I changed the wheel I'd get about 27mpg, that was 70 miles a day. 40 motorway the rest very much stop start
