New car day :cool:

After having boring diesel after boring diesel I thought id try something a little more interesting. Did originally order a Golf R but due to almighty mess up I had to look at something else.

Poor camera pics but you get the idea.

Only been for a little blast and have to say I really like it. Drives lovely and is very nicely built. Sounds great as well.

Is that the new B58 140i or N55 135i?

Love the facelift.
 
New daily sedan, a deal has been made. Excited to get it, it'll be by far the poshest and lowest mileage car I've owned. Even has some futuristic stuff like keyless go, self parking, ionising air purifier :eek:

The Aurion is based on the Camry (and is front wheel drive only) where the Mark X is rear drive or four. The Mark X is seen as being more of a modern day version of the Chaser.

Bit of an oddball car. I like it, but not as much as an S180 Crown Athlete. :cool:

To be fair I don't think I'd *recommend* a CW to anybody unless you're after a show car, if I were to do it again I'd go for a standard FN2 and whack an LSD in it. The price premium for CW just isn't all that worth it over an equivalent condition+mileage FN2 imho. Fortunately I picked mine up cheaper than the rest as I had to travel 8 hours to get it so can't grumble too much.

Yep, think I'm going to be really happy with it. Have managed to find the previous owners blog for it, he's done quite a few track days so is well set up for that, and the motor is built for 500-600 iirc, albeit running 280hp at the moment.

Yeah that would be cool, who is organizing said day? I hear their rollers are in and working now. My car I have to say is going like the clappers at the moment, I'm really interested to see what power it runs as since putting just a cat back on it seems to have opened up loads. Very odd!

Everything with white paint seems to fetch top money, I was browsing eBay last night and like my old 120D, if you don't want white, they're like 2 grand less for the same spec/miles etc. Crazy. As a sidenote, eBay seem to find a good way of hiding the classified ad's option these days I noticed!!! Took me ages to find by using the old fashioned listing view.

Hope the FN2 gets gone quickly for what you want, the looks should sell it :)
