Here's my motor:

In some ways, the biggest dog I've ever owned, because of the amount of money I've had to spend on it to resolve "issues" that I've found.
Having said that, now it's had a new steering rack, wishbones, tyres, brakes etc etc, it's actually rather lovely to drive, much more so than most newer cars I've driven.
There's just nothing like a fairly light car with a fairly large engine.
In addition, the stereo recently turned into an Alpine unit, the brakes have been upgraded to something more like a set of impreza brakes, and it's just been chipped. Not that the chip made any significant difference to outright power, but it does improve driveability in the real world.
So, I'm a smiley bunny.

Just got my first car the other day, and planning to do it up over the summer

Black Renault Clio (the new shape)
1.2L 16V

Planning on getting a Magnex oval backbox for it, K&N Induction Kit, Full Pioneer Sound system, 17" alloys with low profile tyres.

Last spring @ Anglesey, top sprint circuit it is.

Car is a Skoda Octavia.
Wow, I would love to have a go at Anglesey, the track and its surroundings look awesome.
I've got a 5th Gear movie, with Tiff Niddel throwing a Noble M12 around the track. The conditions were a little blowy and the waves looked enormous!

Do you sometimes get the impression that you are just about to drive into the sea?? I hope so! :D

From what I've seen/heard, Angelsey is a track very much suited for smaller cars, like the P 205. Get soemthing big and you start really tearing tyres apart.

It is very suited to smaller club class cars. But it's still very quick if your willing to push it on the odd lap, making the difffernece on the very short straights; well long bends really. Tyres Tyres Tyres, the equivilent of location location location, but Anglesey is both together :D

Ta for the comments and yes you do get a feeling flying into School that if it goes wrong your getting wet. Of course your not, but the feeling is there :D

/Edit: A friend in a tweaked Octavia is pulling out 50seconds for a lap there in last years car. So it is possible to get a big car moving round there.

Not a bad pic I took yesterday spontaneously with my phone when my car was returned from her service. I really should get out and take some decent pics of her, I haven't yet.

You can really see just how good the colour of the car is I think:

Now I'm stopping spending money on the rallye (apart from maybe some rallye livery stickers when I've got £375 spare and debadge the boot) and saving, have decided that my next car is to be a Lexus IS200 and target is to have one within next year before my 2nd year of uni is finished :).

Did your bird come free with the car, or does she like sitting in the van like my Jack Russle!!!
