Wait what! A TT needs a 255 section tyre to put 226bhp, that's ridiculous. I don't particularly have issues with more power with a 195 and a whole lot less weight

You make it sound like on paper numbers translate directly into real world scale, it would not be a fair "match", for you

I wouldn't say entirely embarrassing because an E46 convertible is a bit porky. But you can't argue 180bhp/tonne vs 205bhp/tonne

I have a few Nm more torque. Blackhawk was on about 0-60 times, so being a bit porky wouldn't matter too much between the two since I'm in the 4.6-5s anyway. TT would out-corner me though I guess, I assume it's got Quattro. But then I've got 8300rpm and 119 more BHP to land down in a straight line.

Mine isn't quattro though, the quattro does the 0-60 in like 5.2, if not quicker I think. FWD is about 5.6ish.

Doesn't matter which one is quickest. But there is a Santa Pod meet coming up so...

Having been behind your car at the last southern meet I cant see that going to well for mrk up to a point. That's if your car is the same now as it was then (you've added more power since the summer havn't you ?)

Yea, somewhere around 30-40bhp up compared to the super southern meet, the M3 is only 600kg heavier
