Good, as all new cars need to be nowadays! Granted, if you crash any small car at high speed it's not going to end particularly well but this one in particular, to me, seems quite impressive.

I did look at the ForFour but I am the only one who is ever in it and I like the compact size. It's actually my third as I had two of the very early models in 2000/2002

In what way is it 'great'? It's small, ugly, and so cut-price that it doesn't even have sliding windows, or disc brakes. It's motoring hell.

Because it's a car designed for a particular market segment? It's not trying to be a cut above an S class.

It's up against the twingo, VW up, Toyota aygo, go and check the disc breaks on the rear of them.
It has a lot more standard equipment than those in the segment.

Family of 4 so had to get the ForFour. Have always liked them for being different. How are you finding the auto in yours?

Cant thimk of anything worse than a Smart for a family of four, but as long as youre happy.

Same as I can't think of anything worse than driving around in car which is held together with rust. We are all different.

My mum used to have the old smart for four. It was a half decent car tbh and was fine for people in the back on short journeys. Wasn't a bad car by any means but I believe the new one is a lot smaller?

I had one of these as a 'courtesy' car when my wheels were in getting refurbed. Felt more like a punishment. Each to their own though

My VRS has been gone a week and I'm back with a vauxhall Astra and it is so comfy compared to the Skoda. It's a nicer drive too and not covered in stone chips due to awful paint.

My cars were £750 and £1000, I could buy a whole car collection with the money one of those costs so I'm hardly a car snob, and I think it looks horrid and is generally daft.

Quite the opposite actually. The competition e.g. the VW UP costs quite a bit less than what the smart forfour seems to be (on the road price but seems VW do better offers)?

With the sort of spec as the one posted previously it looks like £13k plus for the Smart Forfour.

I think I'd have a Twingo over the Smart, but I like them both, really cool packaging with the rear engine which means they're incredibly maneuverable.

I don't know why, but it really annoys me that Vauxhall are writing TURBO on every car that has a turbo. Like almost every car nowadays doesn't have a crappy small engine with a turbo. Meh..musings..
