The 'S' means it's supercharged.

Ford use the older model Focus over here. It was about the cheapest / reliable / cost effective car I could find. I really wanted a cheap V6 to hoon about in.

Or ditch it completely. Last time I had one on the 7 was for MOT almost a year ago. Never had a problem with the rozzers either in the UK or France.
