Show Us Your Motors!

Wait, aren't you a student doctor who lives in digs and is constantly complaining about their pay? Or am I getting you confused with someone else.

I'm not a student doctor. I'm a proper doctor.

I don't complain about my job. I Love it. I may complain at times that I'm under paid as I only make £16 per hour but that's another story.

And yes I live in the hospital accommodation it's a compete hole and really uncomfortable.

I knew you'd be in to pick holes, you did really well to last 22 minutes! Just get over it and move on.
Anyways nice to see a fellow R owner :) Whats the full spec you got there ?

Had my R for almost 8 months now , albeit a semi loaded Mk7 one. The additional options i would go for is the DLA and maybe the Akrapovic exhaust.

Not convinced about the new Active Info Display , im old fashioned and like analogue dials, but im sure can get used to it.

Main attraction is the new 7 speed DSG over the old 6 speed . Should maybe eek out a few more mpgs on the motorway.

Listen : just because you don't like the UK number plate system because it reveals that you run clapped out bangers, doesn't mean people shouldn't post their plates if they feel like it. I like seeing it as it hints at a lot of useful information quickly and easily.

Saying it's because he's showing off a new car is just ridiculous, especially in this case.

I'm with Worthy on this one.

Annoyingly good car, because I want a new one but cannot justify it when this is probably worth about £3k and is costing me very little.

Surely your Volvo is worth more than 3k  still a fresh quality looking car that even though it's 10 years old. You would have to spend way over 10k for a worthy replacement imo just wouldn't be worth it

Not sure, that's just based on a 30 second WBAC quote. Maybe £3.5k-£4k privately? It's in good nick, no faults, good tyres, services up to date etc., 90k miles.

Gave the Camaro a good clean today, I've owned this car 10 months now and it still puts a smile on my face every time I step inside. It shall be coming home with me onto British roads summer next year, wondering how it will handle them!

How do you find the general refinement when driving normally? My girlfriend has a standard 500 albeit a 2011 so they may have improved things but the road noise is pretty bad.
