Show Us Your Motors!

You seem like a man with taste, and panache.

I was up for an early drive this morning, first time in a while.

Well based on my previous car history, perhaps not :p but really enjoying the car so far. Certainly not the quickest out there on the roads but really fun to drive. I was close to buying one in the orange they do but saw the one I bought and knew it was the right one for me. Really like the colour of it.

Everytime I see a GT86 on the road I have to actually look properly to see if it's a Hyundai Coupe or a GT86 they look very similar

Each to their own but I think they look nothing alike. I know which one I'd rather own too.

A Mondeo looks virtually identical to a DB9.

Well they probably have the same window switches or something right? :p

My 3 car fleet all washed. I am parched now though!

I did two in the sun yesterday and I nearly died. :p

After numerous suggestions to buy everything from a Peugeot 308 GTi to a BMW M3 Coupe (and many, many more) I decided to go and buy this ugly, shoe-looking, hatchback.

(Yes, I know the garage door needs repainting)

M135i Auto with a smattering of options (Pro Nav, H&K, Driver Comfort Pack, Heated Seats, SP glass)

Will be at vw action with a few mk2 ttrs on the Vag tuning stand, will be back at Santa Pod on the 16th with a few more ttrs aswell. That's pretty much it for this year as show season is pretty much over.

How does one get on the same stand or park their car in the vicinity? I could potentially come this weekend

Easiest is to join an owners club such as TTOC for the large Audi shows or one of the other VAG clubs on facebook. There is VAGTuning, LastDub, Audi Owners Club, SAVS Owners Club, Audi Owners UK (AOUK) ect ect.

I'll see if i can get some passes for the show on Saturday.

yup :D I was shocked when I saw it and then nearly peed my self laughing when I heard the exhaust.

And yet it still develops 300bhp, which seems entirely enough for a car of this type.

It's a modern version of the sort of thing you yourself drive - yet it offers more power, more performance, more efficiency and lower emissions.

Lets be thankful it even exists in this climate.

I'm not a fan of 4 cylinder engines but this is a range where there are 6 and 8 cylinder options too. What harm is choice?
