Been lurking here for a while so I figured I'd sign up and share my motor.

Is that a W211? Should get some wheels like that.

Lol I particularly like the following review
“My ex wife had 4 of these these fitted to my car and increased my life insurance, needless to say when it rains these tyres are deadly. If you value life pay another £40 per tyre”
Safe to say I don’t think Triangle tyres are very good. How can he spend all that money on new alloys then throw dangerous tyres on them

I don't think he spent that much on those alloys tbh.

Reminds me of a guy at work who splashed out on new alloys when his Celica (I'm sensing a pattern here ;)) needed new tyres. Instead of buying decent tyres, he bought new cheap alloys and crap tyres, stating he didn't need good tyres as he didn't drive fast.

I despair.

That's why I don't understand why VX and Renault are putting 19" and 20" wheels as standard on some of their cars. They are supposed to be affordable family cars, but I doubt people are going to be splashing out on UHP tyres as the vast majority of people get their tyres fitted at dealers or kwik fit :/

£1000 for a set of new boots on a Scenic? Forget about it

:o Can't say I'm a fan of those... Also, you should step back a bit in photos :p
they look much better than what was on there :P the stock ones needed refurbishing bad and with the cost of refurb it was better to just get new alloys because one of the stock alloys was cracked anyway had to be welded but just personal preference aint it im not exactly a fan of Ferrari but others are? :P

geez they look like mg zr wheels, are those ditch finders too ?
They do actually :P those wheels are what we got on the car..not our choice, still plenty or tread left on them so why replace.

I've only ever had decent rubber and I don't exactly have a lot of confidence in my pzeros in the wet... let alone something like that :o

I've lost confidence with my pzeros in the wet this morning, wasn't exactly hooning on country lanes but I could feel them starting to give up. When I'm due a change going to give Michelin SS a try after the reviews on here.

I changed all 4 of mine a while back to Pilot Sport 3's on the XJ and very glad I did. The PZero's are just rubbish in the wet, I would get wheel spin just setting off at the lights and I'm not being lead-footed or getting my boy-racer on. The tyre thread seems to recommend Pilot Sports a lot and I can see why. The PS3's were what was available in my sizes, otherwise I'd have gone for the PS4/PS4S (unless silly money time).

Much the same here, they were on the car when I got them so no real lost cash here... In the dry they're awesome but in the colder weather they're just not designed for it :(
