Lol @ the Maserati power causing a stir.

My R8 created equal power or thereabouts from same era with a 4.2 and sounded pants

Big power bored me in the end, had M5, C63 just fast ‘normal looking’ cars

It’s not always about how fast the thing is but how it makes you feel in other ways

I can hand on heart say I’ve woken up at 3am a few nights after buying it and standing in my boxers just staring at it from the bedroom window

I bet! it's a special looking car for sure and they sound glorious and performance I am sure is more than you need.

I’ve had a lot of cars, the R8 went due to using funds for a house purchase.

That made me feel the same. Not the quickest just an occasion every time I drove it.

The Maserati blends in everything I’ve owned so far into one special bit of kit and I do feel this is ‘the one’

Nearly bought a GTR but again just a mental fast bonkers car that failed to stir me.
 
I used to do that when I bought my E30 cos I had wanted one for so long. A year in I avoid looking at it because it makes me anxious. :D

I find that my zed always feels special :o don't know why, it's hardly a "special" car but it just makes me feel good :D

Granturismo has always been my "one day" car which I probably will never own! It's the noise and how it looks and feels above all else. The same reason I wanted a late E46 M3 with carbon fibre intake for so long and finally got one when I could afford to.

It still remains that "one day" car :cool:

Post a pic of your engine bay, these engines look every bit as cool as the cars themselves.
