Brilliant car. Why the change from the BMW though?

Mostly because I wanted something new and was time to get a car where I can fit more than one person in, I've got my mx5 and my girlfriend has her copen for fun, lexus is more of a daily driver, all around car. Z4 was a bit of a tick box, I've wanted one for years.

May I ask how much? I looked over here at they start at €10,000 for high-mileage '08s.
I'm guessing it wasn't that much?

Prices of the Is250 are all over the place. Normally for a 2008 your looking at 5-6k or abit more if it’s the 250SR with bodykit.
I’ve considered one many times as it’s a lot of car for the money but the high tax, insurance and awful mpg’zzz don’t seem worth it for 200bhp and a supposed 0-60 of around 8secs. I also only wanted manual and they seem to get slated compared to the auto version. Would make a nice motorway muncher though

I understand the issue with the wheels, wouldn't say they're awful though. Just look odd, like black wheels that have been kerbed :p
tbh I was on my phone with low brightness so it probably looked worse than it is, but the poor pictures didn't help :p

Ended up paying 4.4k because front tyres will need changing soon and rear pads are a few k before death. I'd say for the money I couldn't get much more.

Insurance wise it is more than my 3.0 z4 :o tax is not all bad at £305? And acceleration wise it's fine, I've expected to be slow but it's more than capable of doing what it needs to do, kicks down quickly and overtaking etc is easy.

Grandads car what am I possibly going to look like driving one when I'm 19 :p

haha, I am only 27! keep in mind their insurance is not low for what ever reason. Guess repair costs are high for lexus cars or something.

Probably better than i looked in an Octavia at 20. :p

yup, that was a taxi drivers car :D I still remember soft the suspension was when someone at the meet pushed it..

I wouldn’t pick the wheels on the AMG but I don’t think they’re bad. Nice car definitely!

I drive a black E90 BMW 320D, 2010 model. Had it for 5 years now and although I’ve thought about swapping it a few times I can’t seem to bring myself to do it. So many nice E65 7 series out there...

Got rid of my Tiguan R-Line after just under 11 months. I swear it was cursed, had more problems with it compared to any other car I've had - glad to see the back of it.

Bought this at the end of January - had its first proper wash/polish treatment yesterday.

Quite an upgrade going from a Tiguan R line to an SQ5! Looks amazing in that blue and obviously an awesome car but damn those fake exhausts look ridiculous  don’t know why they didn’t keep the proper twin exhausts either side like the previous gen
