Just some boring car park photos, but what came before was the first of the year detail, the swirls and scratches from the winter months were insane, dark colours really look poor when neglected devaluing the car in my opinion. 5.5 hours later at a full foam pressure wash, two bucket clean, clay bar, T-cutting of deeps scratches, 2 X rotary polisher run rounds, stone chip removal with Chipex, a wax and other areas detailed, its now as reflective as a wet mirror again, looks a week old out the factory. Hard work and as I'm getting older I feel it more spending a day cleaning a car sounds easy, but my polishing arm still aches 2 days later.

Need some decent weather to take some more...

Carrera S wheels. That's how they come! Also not my favourite wheel pattern or colour (nor is the car for that matter!) however the spec was worth making some sacrifices for.

I don't do gloss black wheels hence getting rid of them of my SVR, but I do quite like those wheels, my 911 had similar and they really suited it, though the ceramics did help with keeping the gloss black looking clean which is impossible with iron brakes.

It's funny, I'm not a fan of gloss black either yet the last 3 cars I've bought have them. I toyed with changing them on the 640 til the day I got rid. Think they look great on the cooper s though. Not got my mind made up on the Boxster yet. The car is outstanding though. Grips like nothing I've driven, even better than the Cayman s I test drove due to the options.
