Yeah you can get big power upgrades already for the ND, but it doesnt need it.
Short gearing and low weight make it quite swift already, you can bury the throttle half way through the corner and it wont dump you in the hedges backwards even with the TC off as its so balanced.
 
Bought a Golf the other month, but it was used and abused and smoked in. Finally got it back scratch-free and smelling of what reminds me of my grandmother's toilet..
Anyway, lovely car for me to use on my commute. It's a GT, so almost a GTI? :o

Audi managed to get my Mum's automatic A3 order built as a manual, crazy errors.

£32k error? The car isnt worthless just because it is in the colour which you didnt pick :p

Autoglym Polar Blast snow foam
Wash with Meguiar's gold class
Bilt Hamber clay (amazing - first time I've used clay)
Wash again with Meguiar's gold class
Wheels treated with Autoglym wheel cleaner and sealed with AG wheel protection
Tyre treatment Meguiar's endurance gel
AG Super Resin Polish
AG Extra Gloss Protection
Meguiar's glass cleaner

@Acme, I know its not yours, but damnit, more of the Velocette!!

Dad's a bit of a vintage bike nut.

Used to ride pillion to a lot of the classic bike shows and runs when I was a kid.

Will see if I can dig out some pictures...

I have a bit of thing for mid- and post-war British bikes. One day I'll have one to tinker with, even if I still don't have a licence :p
