Meh I wouldn't be worried for a dry road ride. If it was one of my bikes after I'd been out it would definitely need a blanket. And rubber mat.

Not the best light as the sun had set...

Washed then applied some tripple then sonax bsd on top.

Could do with a proper polish as I have some Collinite 915 wax waiting to go on. Just need to find a full day soon. Alloys also need a refurb as the diamond cut finish is corroding around the centre caps a little.

It just means the outer face of the wheel has been finished on a lathe and then lacquered, to give it a shiny, machined finish. Seems to be fashionable on a lot of new cars nowadays.
Nothing particularly special about them. Some look okay. The problem is that they seem to suffer more from kerbing and minor damage.
