About 10 mins from the Nurburgring:

Yeah a lot of fun. Very beautiful area too and the quality of the roads put our UK roads to shame.

Right you are. I went on a roadtrip with my M3 down to the Black Forest region in Germany, and I amazed at how smooth their roads/tarmac is. As soon as I got back in the UK, mainly the M20 from Dover to London, made me wish I would turn back. That is probably the loudest and most annoying section of motorway we have. It literally sounds like all 4 of your tyres are flat.

Do you mean the light coloured concrete part? I pulled over on there once between Ashford and Maidstone as I was convinced I my engine was about to explode due to the horrendous noise! :)

There’s a bit like that on the M25 near Gatwick, or on the M42 north of Birmingham.

The roads throughout Netherlands and Germany were amazing. I don’t think I saw one pot hole, and somehow all the roads are really clean. Not dirt or dust built up near the curb (or rubbish like we get in the UK.

Belgium's roads, on the other hand, are ******* horrible and noisy tarmac!
Concrete*

Wallonia is noticeably worse than Flanders though. If you take the E40 from Brussels to Germany, it crosses the regional border a number of times and the surface changes every time. Total madness!

A roads in Flanders are usually paved with concrete slabs which make for an uncomfortable journey in anything harsher than a RR Phantom.

Smoked windows and wheels are on the list to do, not a massive fan of black myself, not the end all though and the rest of the car was right. They will probably be done silver, shame as not kerbed. Alternatively may get some XFR-S wheels
