Clean again! Bloody trees in my car park are a nuisance, constant petals on the car at this time of year, and the rain really gets them stuck!
 
Made my mind up... just plonked deposit on this as my daily. Always wanted an M car and the latest version of the M4 Comp Pack has some really good improvements over the original M4... even better than the 2016 Comp Pack:

- Pre-reg March 2018
- Alpine White (not my first choice of colour, but the rest of the spec makes up for it - spec over colour)
- Black Extended Merino Leather
- Heated front seats
- Extended Interior Light Package
- Headlining. Anthracite
- Elec Fr Seats + Driver Memory
- Carbon Fibre interior trim- Black Chrome
- 20" Black 666 M star-spoke forged alloy (one of the best looking wheels I've ever seen on a factory spec)
- M Double Clutch Transmission- 7-speed
- Reversing Assist camera
- High-beam Assistant
- BMW Icon Adaptive LED headlights (very high on my list of priorities - quite rare spec option it seems)
- Apple CarPlay preparation
- BMW M Head-up Display
- Harman Kardon loudspeaker system
- Speed limit display
- Navigation system Professional
- M Competition package
- Comfort Access
 
I'd have preferred Sakhir Orange II or the blue or the greeny yellow... but there were none available in those colours with the right spec.

At least the exterior isn't black... I don't like black exterior.

I also prefer light-coloured interiors.

There was a Sakhir car that was close to this spec but missing HUD and Icon lights. Icon lights were something I cared more about than the colour.

Will be part-exing this car against the Vantage or whatever else I order if I don't like the Vantage, but I'm thinking that's unlikely now the reviews are out and they're loving it.

Agree, colour is secondary, but for me I wouldn't ever have a black BMW interior. SO DULL!

Icon lights are amazing, I'm seriously impressed with them, and the HUD is also brilliant. On my spec list were "not black" interior, HUD, Icon, and the rest was just nice to haves. I just got lucky and found one with my favourite exterior colour :)

My ideal colours would have been Sakhir Orange 2 exterior, black alloys of the same style & opal white interior.

But this car has ticked every other option I really wanted... I'd have specced ceramics on my build and maybe a few other little things.

All the core spec I wanted to keep me happy for the ~6 months I'll own it.

Was much easier to get a C63S in the right spec... but I fancied the front-end of the M4 this time. Had a C63S... this will be my first M car and I've been wanting an M car since my first Palmersport day with the E92 M3s.

New registration plate required: M4 WTF
 
Recently (ok the Scotland one was 18 months ago) we've been taking both the cars to various high places. No particular reason, but why not? :D
