You stripped the rear interior? Put it back in, no one is going to buy it with half an interior. No point even mentioning it.

Take off the 'launch control' too, just screams 'I need a new clutch'

More like 2 step launch control screams 'conrod through block' lol. I have it on my car and won't use it even with forged pistons & rods.

Agreed. And lose the fire extinguisher and that bloody ridiculous gear knob. You're seriously limiting your target market (even more than you are by the fact that it's modified) otherwise.

Launch control has never been used, and I think you'll find I said "launch control functionality" ;)
And it has a new uprated clutch already for all your abusive needs.
Gearknob I would lose but....... I can't get it off :p :p
People have been interested in it with half an interior (and the rest included) - I haven't advertised it properly yet. (I.e autotrader, eBay, etc.) When I do I'll put it back in and I will lose the fire extinguisher etc lol.

Trust me, with this sort of car in the places i'm advertising it, a nice long spec list which has everything a young chappie like me might want to add themselves and more, is more of an appeal than it being a 100% stock car.

Had plenty of tags and comments saying things like "hell of a spec for the price m8" :p

What are you getting for £750? :D

Obviously a rotten MK1 MX5 with a hydro and a welded diff which I'm going to paint white with a roller, screw on some universal wide arches, fit some ET0 fake Watanabe's with ditchfinders, and stick some Initial D vinyls on it. What else?

Drift what ya brung here I come. :p

Bored. I've had it over a year now. I bought the new wheels and coilovers in an effort to make myself fall back in love with it, it worked for a little while, and now I'm bored again. Will be replacing it with something which should be cheaper, and more fun. Scratching an itch and getting a couple of K's back to stick in the bank at the same time. :)

I have had my three cars 4 years, 5 years and my Celica 6 years now! Never get bored. The tinkering keeps me more than occupied.

If it was anyone else posting this it'd be an obvious joke, but you? Can never be sure :p

And so you shouldn't be, because I'm being entirely serious. :D :D

Trying to avoid the rotten part if possible though. Also not burning oil is preferred but not essential. Functioning or present engine isn't essential either because I have a spare MK2.5 VVT 1.8 engine with loom and ECU kicking about in a friends garage... :p

As I said before my "daily" doesn't need to be practical anymore so I fancy ******* about with a throwaway car.

I think we're due some updates on what shenanigans TurboToaster is up to, Anyone still follow the things he does?

He's gone drag and wants to use Ethanol (E85) :D
