It’s marmite I know that. It’s just difficult finding a set of alloys for an e90 which are different but not disgustingly different. I don’t like the mv3/mv4 the 313s are decent but prone to cracking. Every set I went to view had a crack or had been welded poorly.

People run these in the states so I thought I’d try them. Maybe thinner tyres and lows with spacers on would help it somewhat but meh, I don’t even care lol.

2 months on, put way more miles than I really should and got a stack of Shell fuel receipts.

Still loving it...might be a keeper as I can't see myself ever selling it. :)

Really impressed with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports tyres.

Need to get them up to temperature first. Don't know if this is just a RWD thing in general but after that the grip is amazing.

Lovely, shame I couldn't justify one at the moment.

I found that with the Supersports, when they were cold and the ground was damp they lacked grip. As soon as they warmed up a bit, they really dug in even on wet surfaces.

Yeah, silver does look much better against the body colour. I did ponder at the idea of bbs lm’s, but I couldn’t find a used set. The csl style, 313 etc are far to common.

Mv4s look very smart, it’s just a shame they’re also prone to cracking.

I can always change in the future.

Haven't looked in here for months, Blackhawk doesn't have an Audi any more?

Were those arches just too much in the end?

Correct, he has an M2 now.

I still remember fondly slagging off his TT arches to some random bloke at an OcUK meet, who then turned out to be Blackhawk himself... :D
