First was the pistons themselves, I was using forged NA pistons with the middles machined out to drop compression, this left us with fairly thin ringlands meaning they are reaching the limit of what they can take as they are dealing with heat/pressures and rpm that is not normally seen on k series.

Seeing the more recent pictures I was thinking he'd maybe taken mine and other's pointers about aero into account finally but no seem it was just because he realised they were a hindrance for the 1/4 mile.
Can't remember if he has the K series engine in there but if he is running 11s on it that engine is gonna be warped to **** in no time.

I really don't get it reading some of the comments he has a very good working knowledge of those engines and the overall problem but is still running headlessly towards the inevitable for instance:
