I really, really like that manta, but I have to say, just looks like someones nicked your hubcaps TBH.

Nice car you have, however very powerful? The car only has 125bhp. I fart more than that :P

I've got a Puma 1.7, they are awesome little cars! No matter what the figures are, when it comes to having fun on the road it definitely delivers.

I have to say, this is the kind of thinking I used to do ("POWERR") but having recently gone from a 4L Jag with 280ft/lb to a piddling MX5 with 130hp and 110ft/lb I have to say I have way more fun driving the MX5 which feels a lot faster in a straight line too. It's not all about horsepower.

My Subaru Impreza RB5.

Relatively light modifications, ported headers, walbro fuel pump, de-cat exhaust, up-pipe to match my turbo and a simtek ecu mapped by Bob Rawle. This last week I had the std disks and fast road pads replaced, also had 4 Vredestein Sessantas put on replacing the Pirelli P-Zeros. Couple those with a geometry setup by Tristan Pye in Bishop Aukland and the car is officially awesome.

This is my 1989 Sierra XR4x4. Ive done a bit of work to the old girl to improve performance although theres still quite a bit i want to do. im currently waiting for a pair of new engine mounts to arive from the US as the old ones failed during a hard launch on a 0-60 run.

Hmmm not too sure on those Compomotives on it. Does having bonnet raisers really make a difference to it or is it more for show?

Other than that it looks rapid! :D

its back on the standerd 14"'s at the moment. the bonnet raisers do help as theres a lot of heat under there with out them and i didnt want to put a cossie bonnet on it.

Its not to bad, i managed to do a 4.7 to 60 just befor the mounts went but i was hopeing for 4.5. im going to try to squeaze a few more ponys out of her in the new year :)

Hi,
I've been an OcUK customer for about 5 years, lurked about on the forums but never had a reason to join. Will be doing a new PC build in 2010 so thought while I'm at it I would post some pics of my car.

Everything's stainless from mainifold back. Sports cat into quad exhaust. 2 silencers to keep it from being ASBO loud.

TEIN coilovers, camber kits. Front upper and lower and rear upper strut braces. Handles so tightly you'd swear it's a go-kart.

The wheels are integra type r copies by Rota, running on Toyos.

D15B engine can do roughly 10p per mile if you stick to motorways. Filled up at Gloucester and drove to Gillingham (169 miles) and filled up again for £17.50. Drinks fuel in VTEC though, dyno'd at 123.5bhp at Santa Pod.

83000km on the clock (Jap import).

Front lip is supposed to go on an EG series Honda Civic, but also fits this car, as they are very similar under all the glam.

A few audio components uprated a bit, but that's not the focus of this car.

Thanks,
Andy

Well, not 4 exhausts, no. Quad exhaust tips, sorry.

Yes, it has the "transtop" roof. A lot of people say, "They're prone to going wrong". These people don't realise that, like anything mechanical, if properly maintained by regular oiling/greasing they'll run without hitch.

You can get Honda Del Sols without the "transtop" roof, but we call these cars "tramptops". They get a bigger boot and the cars are much lighter.

The total weight of the transtop mechanism is 80kg, but its weight over the rear axel helps plant the car IMO.

Sure, in a drag race I would lose out, but the Japanese build their cars for circuit racing, not drag racing. In the corners I win every time.
