Lovely Mk2 Clio, I'd love to own a 172/182 some day as I thoroughly enjoyed my old mk2 ph2 1.2 Clio, Really fun car to drive.
Quick glance on AT has two very low mileage 172 non cup cars, If only I had spare cash to spare.
 
172 Cup I am guessing from spotting the door bages. You should really remove the F1 stickers, get the bonnet and front bumper all painted, get it as close to factory specification as possible, then enjoy it and refresh what needs refreshing suspension wise. Great things with these cars is the cost of parts direct from Renault and ECP, a full set of dampers from Renault set me back around £110, which to me is crazy cheap, but its beauty of a French car, yeah they might be a bit temperamental at times, but the repair cost are generally pennies and in saying that mine never left me down, yeah it dropped an injector but can still drive it and its quite an easy job. A lot of fun, all I'd say they are missing is a mechanical differential as in the wet you have to be patient with power or modulate it yourself.
It is a cup :) Feels more raw than the none cup version I drove a few years back. Definitely grin inducing.

Yeah removing the stickers will be done in the near future and a good clean and seal until it can be done properly in the new year.

@Maccy that's the plan too something I can work on myself for a change without worrying about how quick I need to put it back together to go somewhere.

Belts were just changed in with the price as they were overdue (last done in 2013 50k ago but it's only done a few k in the last year)

Sounds a little like the one I had, mine was a 1 previous owner, had about 59k miles when I sold it, purchased it with around 54k on it for just over a grand, then put around 2-3k into the car and sold it recently for 6k, so had a years fun with it and made a little profit. :)

Sort it, keep it a year or two and you will probably get around 8k for it if you don't put a huge amount of miles on it, they are going up in value for sure. :)

Unfortunately mine is already moon mileage (137k) but I picked it up for 1600 with belts done, new clutch good tyres etc. History is lacking but it's been serviced by a specialist for the last 6 years so I should be able to get copies of all those receipts etc and then he bought it last year with the intention to strip for track use but didn't get around to it so I said I'd have it off him.

With the mileage I'm not expecting it to be worth anything special in the future but at worst it won't lose money and I plan to keep long term so we'll see :)
 
Nice 4C, going to be a long wait for better weather though!

It's a nightmare in dark and rain tbh. It was annoying in my Z4, everyone has such high headlights nowadays you're in constant glare. But in the 4C you're that bit lower where you're properly in the spray from everything else on the road on top of all the glare, can't see a damn thing. Actually had people overtaking me on A roads because I was going so slow, cannot see at all!

It's mega apart from that though :p.
 
After 2 and a bit years I got rid of the Stang, couldnt keep up with its thirst! £65 a week to do a 40mile round trip 5x a week for work was a bit much.

Wanted something with a lot more comfort and tech, but with some zip to it! Ended up deciding on Merc A35 but wanted saloon over the Hatch. Premium Plus Model, Adv Nav, Night/AMG Kit, Smartphone Package and Designo Matte Grey paint :)

That does look very smart.

Not sure it makes sense to save money though! I spend about 160 a month on a similar commute in my MX5 so £240 for a mustang doesn't seem all that bad. Surely the A35 won't be that much better will it? Maybe 10mpg more?
