Cloth seats!? (That look terrible)

Cloth seats are the best kind of seats. Dead cow seats are cold when its cold, hot when its hot, less comfortable, make you sweat more, let you slide around more, they just look better and are harder wearing.

You can still get cloth seats in lots of Japanese market luxury cars, they have the right idea IMO.

They also look rubbish (unless a bucket seat) and stain easy! I was just surprised that anything with a Range Rover badge on it had cloth seats.

They can look good if the right materials are used etc, but I did say one of the merits of leathers is that they (usually) look better! :)

And yes cloth seats do stain easier thats for damn sure... And they absorb smells.

Not entirely sure what the seats are in my Navara - some kind of leather like stuff - but they aren't too bad at all in that respect - though I suspect the privacy glass, etc. helps a bit in summer and being heated helps as well if it it comes to it if it is cold. Comfort wise they are probably the best I've experienced yet.

It is one of the reasons I went for the vehicle despite other options and will be sorry to part with it.

I don't fully understand why plug in hybrid isn't the future. It fixes all the range anxiety issues of full EV but results in most people most of the time effectively driving fully on electric power.

Look at that - 135mpg from an Evoque which, if you needed to, you could drive 350 miles without recharging.

Theres two versions.

Entry now has :
Cloud Eucalyptus textile and Ultrafabrics™ seat with Cloud/Ebony interior. This is as suggested and also recylcled plastic bottles

Then rather than Windsor Leather on the HSE type car this has the:
Dapple Grey/Ebony Kvadrat premium textile and Dinamica® suedecloth seat with Ebony/Ebony interior

Its just more choice. The new Autobiography full leather in garnet red is rather special

Don't understand it either - I'm definitely considering hybrid for my next car purchase - probably the new Tiguan. Sadly no sign of being able to replace the pickup though electric wise any time soon - even if a fully electric one with good range is released it would likely be outside what I can justify spending on a pickup for my usage (or realistically afford if prices are like I imagine they'd be).

Collected M5 today new brakes all round along with fuel pump and filter, no more engine pinking can finally enjoy that V10 howl to 8000rpm again. :D

Get suspension bush refresh next week! :)
